[Marxism] Argentina: violent confrontation among Peronists over Peron's corpse, many wounded

OK. It happened again. The first time was a tragedy, the second is a farce...
Peronists shoot, kick, hit and smashed brains amongst themselves using guns,
sticks, rocks and fists.  This time was about the corpse of General Peron who was being transfer from a cemetery to a San Vicente villa, farm and museum  to
commemorate him.

The labor bureaucracy organized the transportation and was in charge of the rally at the end of the trip.  One faction (called Los Gordos-- the Fat guys) --
metalworkers, commerce employees and others -- hiding behind the goons from
the construction workers union closed the gate of the San Vicente location and
left out the truck drivers, taxi drivers and other unions that respond to CGT
General Secretary Moyano.


Moyano goons fought with guns and sticks trying to get into the rally inside. 

They were counter-attacked by other goons from the construction workers
union.  Many were injured and wounded.  No figures yet.  It is too early to
know if someone got killed.  Probably.

Both sides in the struggle were chanting the anticommunist, right wing
slogan of the 70s: "Neither yankees, nor Marxists... Peronists!"

President Kirchner and Gobernor Sola suspended their appearance at the
ceremony. Accusatrions are flying around.

Many remembered when Peron returned to the country in the 1970s and
was about to be greeted at the airport by more than 1 million people.
The right wing labor bureaucracy launched an armed attack against the
contingents of then the "left Peronists" of Montoneros, killing and 
wounded scores of them and practically dissolving the reception and
forcing Peron to re-direct his plane to a military base.

Got the point about the first time being a tragedy and the second
a farce?  There were no left wing Peronists this time...

The question remains that three days ago, a goon squad including some of the
President's custody men attacked a working class meeting of the French
Hospital who were demanding nationalization of the hospital.

Increasingly, Peronists are resorting to goon squads to attack workers in
struggle, now they are also trying to decide their internal fights the same
way...

By the way, everything is documented, filmed, photographed and a group
of independent journalists are working in the release of all the materials.

Kirchner is asking himself: "How many votes I just lost?"
