[Marxism] Evo's spokesperson and the left: Dieterich is a liar

  Heinz Dieterich had been saying fro two weeks that a military coup was being
prepared in Bolivia.  He wrote in several magazines and websites that the coup
would be carried out on October 11.  Now Contreras, spokesperson for president
Evo Morales said, “Dieterich doesn’t have a clue of what’s going on in Bolivia”
and called his assertion “an act of extreme irresponsibility.”   Others from the left
in Bolivia believed Evo first floated the rumor as a way to regroup international
and domestic support for his government recently shaken by the murder of coca
farmers and the massacre of Huanuni, where 16 miners were killed and many
wounded in confrontation between “cooperativists” – supported by Morales and
who started the violence – and miners from the Huanuni mine who were
  demanding nationalization of tin production.
