Andrew, I have to remind you that this is a Marxism list. I have no
idea what it means to "stifle the Republicans". Does that mean
putting a sock in Dennis Hastert's mouth? Ending the war in Iraq?
Aufgeheben the law of value?

I'm a Marxist and I know what it means to stifle Republicans. Other Marxists do as well. I know that because I know lots of others Marxists. I admit I don't know that many who wear your ideological straitjacket. But then I talk about intellectuals who aren't Marxist, so maybe I just don't know what Marxism really is. Maybe Marxism is rigid one-dimensional thinking.

This is the second time you have reminded me that this is a Marxist list. Given the substance of your first reminder, I realize that I am again straying beyond the bounds of acceptable thought for this list. Do you have a list of things Marxists aren't supposed to talk about on a Marxist list somewhere? Such a list would be helpful. I'm obviously not disciplined enough to know what those limits are without direction.
