Intelligent Marxian activist. He takes some strong positions I 
disagree with (such as being pro-dependency theory). I would check it 
every day if he didn't post the majority of what he blogs to the 
Progressive Economists Network. Its refreshingly non-academic - while 
he probably knows as much as most academics he doesn't follow their 
fads or etiquette.
