The form of molestation Bettina Aptheker describes in her book is frottage: the act of rubbing against the body of 
another person to attain sexual gratification. She relates that when she was a child, her father played 
games with her that had lots of physical contact, resulting in an orgasm [his, not hers]; that he never hurt her or 
exposed his penis; that he stopped when she reached puberty; that he never spoke of it, and decades later expressed 
disbelief when confronted by her. It's still molestation, but not physically violent or sadistic.
