M-TH: Stages and permanent revolution

I am now totally desensitized to the word "panic" but
my eyes strayed on a passage from Stephen Tumino where he 
generalises, I do not know on what evidence, that many 
decline to engage with Hugh Rodwell because he is a
control freak. I suppose you could think of it that way,
but I positively want to engage with Hugh because I trust
him not to yield ground without putting up a good fight.

(Also because I admire him for being able to combine
the equivalent of chutzpah with a middle class English
education).

I was disappointed that Hugh did not respond to my previous
challenge to clarify whether his support for Lenin's
arguments in Letters on Tactics does or does not imply
support for a *strategy* involving stages of a revolution.

I am therefore repeating my post below and look forward
to his reply.
