I don't think there's a comparison unless someone had attempted to
assassinate Bono just days before the handshake like Seaga's thugs
(presumed, Manley and Marley were personal friends) attempted to kill
Bob Marley just a day or two before he made them shake hands.

The point of that handshake, and Manley WILLINGLY played into it, at
that moment in history Bob Marley proved HE ran Jamaica, musically,
spiritually and culturally, NOT Manley or Seaga, with their
'Politricks', isms and schisms.

Michael Manley already knew ... Seaga was too much of a dolt to figure
