Comparing reports on and videos of anti-Gaza-war demos in France and
Germany, for instance, I think the French demos were much more mixed
than the German ones.  In Germany, some demos were overwhelmingly
attended by Arabs, Turks, etc. with few leftists among them.  Leftists
had their own demos there.  Maybe the French leftists finally began to
figure out the Islam and immigrant question, too.
