Theoretically, there can be a Zionist state that doesn't occupy the
West Bank and Gaza, and in fact, Zionist politicians from center to
left constantly say that the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza
imperils Zionism, as it is only a matter of time that the Palestinians
in historic Palestine will greatly outnumber Jews there.  So, again,
theoretically, a case can be made that, if a Jewish-majority state
were what all Zionists really wanted, it would be in their interest to
establish it within the Green Lines, giving up the West Bank and Gaza.
 Practically, though, it's clear the Israeli power elite of all major
parties actually prefer political Jewish supremacy to numerical Jewish
majority.  Can this preference be changed from inside and/or outside
Israel?
