Unless you count the Bolsheviks as an anti-war movement, NO anti-war
movement in history has EVER stopped a war. That does not mean anti-war
movements are not important; they are tremendously important for a
number of different reasons, but it is wholly wrong to judge them by
whether or not they stopped a war. And an argument which starts off with
complaining about the obvious is hardly worth reading.
