Palestine will be free not from working to violently overthrow Tel Aviv,
but through a large social movement that forces people to act on the
"ethics" of their own religious convictions, such as the Anglicans working
in Bethlehem, the few remaining other Protestants in the US who work hard
to keep the reality of the occupation as basic knowledge, to the various
Muslims who move long distances from the Middle East but keep Palestine in
their hearts and show up at events and pressure demonstrations against
Israel and even the anti-Zionist practicing Jewish people who go into
synagogues with a legitimacy that a secular Jew could never do...
such is why the Ba'hai are far more dangerous to the Palestinians than any
other religious groups I have come across, the only ones who *by
definition* would not let us in or engage a discussion among Palestinian
supporters and allies. Some of us, however, would still toss our pamphlets
through their mail slots.
I suppose the seventh day adventists could be considered far worse, but at
least they are honest about it.
