By Lucinda Roy's and Nikki Giovanni's 'expert' criteria we might all
think Stephen King and Dean Koontz (a student of my undergrad
institution by the way, but that 's another story) are going to be
mass murderers. OTOH, these program directors seemed more genuinely
concerned about him than any of the various counseling and law
enforcement apparatuses on the campus.

I do know if the mass media like what you cite here gets to 'put it
all in perspective' for us, we will understand nor learn nothing.
