Such falls into the category of 'biological deterministic' cultural
propaganda which itself has profound political implications...i.e. social Darwinism,
and the equating of political criminality (or, indeed, any form of social
non-conformity) with psychiatric 'pathology'...All a load of reductionistic
claptrap...All designed, not for 'therapeutic' or 'scientific' explanatory ends, but
for social control ... <<

You should not be so hard on yourself.
Bush is of course a madman traveling down a road against powerful historical
currents and winds or rather attempting to use powerful economic trends on
behalf of his class and personal cronies.
Bush is a madman because he and his circle of political advisors are
ideologues. They are ideologues who somehow believe they are on a divine mission of
Empire. Bush, a determined born again Christian, is strengthened by a circle of
Christian fundamentalists and Zionists who in turn are strengthened by a whole
body of pro-fascist think tanks, a superrich gang of lobbyists and the
reactionary wing of the Southern Christian church serving as a political base in the
"Solid South." A major aspect of this belief is that Greater Israel must
become a reality by taking over all of Palestine and reducing the Arab states to
the level of vassals.
American history is instructive. Slavery split the Church into "yea" and
"nay," and a very important core of abolitionists arose with powerful convictions
that challenged the mad hatter schemes of the slave oligarchy. Perhaps if one
was writing for a theoretical or economic journal, "madman" would be
inappropriate. A large segment of humanity would correctly understand the meaning of
Bush being a madman . . . which he is. Teaching the world masses the meaning of
class and class interest is a complex and lengthy task.
Marxists propaganda does not mean propaganda using Marx words or dry formula.
What is meant is propaganda that takes into account the actual manner in
which our diverse peoples think things out and teaching . . . explaining, the
impact of wealth, privilege and class as a forces of evil and decay.
